Trying to price-match to free in UK

This post was last modified: 19 Sep 2012 10:08 AM by teddyjacobs.
I'm trying to price match my epic fantasy Sword Bearer to free in the UK on Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk...

to free from iTunes UK

http://itunes.apple.com...

If you are in the UK, and you click the "tell us about a lower price" button at the amazon UK page, and enter the iTunes link, hopefully they will price match it and it will become free for all in the UK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want this to be (and stay) free for my UK readers.

Alternately, you can get it free on iTunes UK (or US) if you have an iPad or iPhone or iPod touch.

Best,

Teddy Jacobs

As I am non-UK I can't, but good luck!

I have succeeded occasionally, but not lately.

Hi,

I applaud your intentions, but I'd be surprised if it works as they aren't the same thing. Same words, cover etc., yes, but completely different formats, of course.

Still, best of luck.

I clicked it for you.
It will either work, or not.

RE: Trying to price-match to free in UK

Hi Teddy.

I went through this with three short stories I wanted to be free. In the end I wasn't quite sure whether the "tell us about lower price" thing made that much difference, but it took a few months before two of them became free (the other still hasn't). I know Amazon also scan the www for the same titles. I wish they simply allowed you to put 'free' and save all the nonsense.

Good Luck,
RK.
