(FIRE HD)I've compared recharging a 'flat' battery (auto shutdown state) using both the standard (white) plug old Kindle charger and the new one and yes it does speed up the charging by an average of 60 to 70 minutes. Thats worth £8.99 of my money. As for the cases I too picked up a cheapy for $4 free p&p from the US, didn't like it so got one for £2.99 free p&p from Hong Kong (arrived in a week). Its a smart vertical folder and fits like glove, real leather to boot plus they chucked in a stylus which I use all the time now (highly recommended) as I've got big mitts. |
