I've been holding out buying a new TV for ages, but since Sky had an excellent £400 cash-back deal on the new range of LG Cinema 3D TV's I decided to treat myself.
It came this morning - the 55" LG 55LW550T version and having had a good play around, I have to say that it's nothing short of stunning. The 3D is miles better than any of the other TV's I've seen and has none of the headache inducing flicker of the active TV's.
It also has built in networking and support for all the fave's like Youtube, iPlayer and Facebook all seamlessly integrated. I'm over the moon
I purchased via Electrical Discount UK who are one of the first companies to ship the TV in the UK, and provided both incredibly fast delivery and excellent customer support, so a big thanks to them.

Looks excellent - but some serious dosh for a TV
Mind you, if you watch a lot of TV and want the best then why not?

Hey Lou, how are you getting on with your super duper new telly / magic box thingie?
I've never wanted a 3D telly as I'm forever reading / surfing whilst watching and would get all confused. Do you get that problem?

55LW550T TV is fantastic - best TV I've ever owned by far. The passive 3D is just amazing and no eye strain at all. Even has iPlayer, YouTube built in and connected wirelessly to the web so you can just watch anything you like without messing around with computers etc.
Even has a remote control app for iPod touch so you can control it all with that.
