Twin Peaks - joo - 30 Apr 2017 03:47 PM

I knew it was coming but I just found out that the new series of Twin Peaks starts on May 22nd.
So we need to watch 8 episodes of series 1 and 22 episodes of series 2 and a film. All over the next 3 weeks.
The late 80 s was very brown.

The owls are not what they seem.

I don't know what you're talking about. In the late 80s my children were in their early teens. I never had time to watch the telly. Big Grin

It was actually shown in 1990, although Laura Palmer died on 24th February 1989

And Tim, me and MrJoo often say that to each other, even nowadays.

Every time I hear, "It is happening again," I shiver.

So we're up to Series 2, Episode 9.
It's slower and browner than I remember.
My lungs feel tight just watching all the smoking.
It's very cheesy and like a bad daytime soap in parts, especially with Donna and James, and any romantic interludes.
Josie is the worst character, Albert the best. I love him.

I've kind of been half looking at who is returning. It seems that there'll be a lot in the first episode, perhaps not so many after that. I do wonder if it will have too many inside references for newbies to appreciate. On the one hand I hope so, so my investment in time is worth it.

Will more be coming out soon? I can't find the twin Peaks schedule anywhere.
