Amazon Gift Cards Expiry - oldfossil - 30 Dec 2013 11:04 PM

Do the Amazon Gift Cards have an expiry date?

RE: Amazon Gift Cards Expiry - I ♥ my Kindle - 30 Dec 2013 11:06 PM

They used to have a 2 year expiry, but recently we noticed a 10 year expiry on the ones added to our account.
Not sure when they changed, but 10 years is a lot better Smile
Though in my view if you pay for a gift card it should be for an indefinite period.

It does say on there (no.7) 10 years if issued after July 2013, 2 years if issued previously.

So it will expire in 10 years time. Hopefully you can find something to spend it on before then though Smile

The first one I bought I used up in one night lol.
Mind you I have so many books on mine I wouldn't even have looked at if in a proper bookshop.

I don't think I need to worry about gift cards running out, I always manage to find things to spend them on! Pondering
