Falmouth Police - Kew - 08 Jan 2013 10:14 AM

I saw this highlighted on BBC Radio Cornwall.

Falmouth Police have made a fundraising video for a local boy with a brain tumour. The video is real fun so I thought that I would share the link with you all. Nice to see something positive!

Just wait for The Daily Maul to moan that they should be doing their job, not something fun like this, and PSD nicking them all on dawn raids for bringing the force into disrepute.

That's hilarious!

But the link to support Josh doesn't appear to work for me. (http://www.superjosh.co.uk)

Does anybody know how to pledge?

Great idea, thank you for sharing it, Kew.

A great idea for the Police to be seen to be doing this. I'm a supporter of the Police (and I don't mean of the Sting variety, though I like them as well), having worked for Northants Police in the past.

I am often dismayed at the often very bad publicity that our Police get these days, when the reality is that many many officers spend their lives actually trying to catch criminals and make their neighbourhoods safer for the Mr & Mrs Average Citizen, though they are often hampered by poor leadership, and the ambitious middle manager whose aim is to impress the senior staff to ensure promotion.
