What I Read

RE: Tollesbury Time Forever by Stuart Ayris

Stuart Ayris Just to let you know that since Tollesbury Time Forever is Book 1 of the Frugality Trilogy, (The Bird That Nobody Sees being Book 2), I have reformatted it so that the two books have consistent formatting. As far as I know, if you already have Tollesbury Time Forever, there is a function on the kindle that allows you to update to the new version of the book. And if you haven't already got it, well, it's all clean and shiny now and ready for you!

I hope to have news on the paperback version over the next couple of days...

Well the final amendments have been done to the paperback version of Tollesbury Time Forever. I hope to have the final proof copy with me by Wednseday and for it to be available by the middle of August. There is a preview of the cover over on my blog...

Indeed mate!!

I've been floating for years! Reminds me of one of my favourite Jonathan Richman songs:

Jonathan Richman Lyrics

Well, I had a dream about floatin'
Out there in a raft on the ocean
With my family far behind
Why are they hard to find?
Or up in the sky
But I'm up too high
My family's on the ground
And I can't quite come down
Cause I'm floatin'
Like on an ocean.

I'm so surprised that I should be there for them.
Those waves are tall and this raft is so small.
Now the wind is there on the sea
This floatin's sendin' a chill through me.
Floatin'
Like on the ocean.

Yonder are dark clouds, yonder sounds the thunder
Well, I've been floatin', floatin' for a while
How much longer I wonder.
And the breeze is there, and it's kind of cold.
This floatin', floatin'
Well, I don't know about floatin'
You know, like on the ocean.

Dream about floatin'
Like on the ocean.
With my family somewhere behind
I don't like it when they're so far behind
I had a dream then about bein' in the sky
Okay, but I'm up a little too high
And my family's on the ground
That's no good, cause I can't come down
See, I'm floatin'
Almost like bein' on an ocean.
And I'm so surprised that it should be I
Who'd be there floatin'
Them waves are fair tall, and this raft feels so small.
And now the wind comes up on the sea
This floatin', floatin' is chillin' to me.
Floatin'
Like on the ocean.
