This isn't Kindle-centric - I used to have the same problem with tree books. Kind of like reading fatigue. If I take a break and don't read at night for a week or so, it will probably go away. download stuck17 May 2012 19:54 (GMT) Hi I hope someone can tell me what to do about aBook that seems to have jammed itself after downloading 90%. Timeline by David Wailing16 May 2012 18:37 (GMT) ![]() It’s always risky, meeting a strange man for the first time. But not for Joanna O’Donnell. Not in the year 2022. Her auto – a digital assistant – has scoured his history, his entire timeline. Working for a detective agency, Joanna knows how to unearth secrets. Joanna’s auto calculates that her date is 85% compatible with her. At last, she’s found her match! And then, moments before they meet, Joanna’s auto reports there is a 24% chance this man will kill her. Timeline is a 10,000 word short story that looks at how the internet and social media may evolve over the next ten years, and the way in which this will radically change our lives. It is set in the same 'future London' as the short story Relationship Status but is a standalone tale. Timeline is available to buy as a Kindle ebook for 77p!
