About Roy A Higgins

Roy A Higgins was born in Chorley Lancashire in 1943 to an English father and a South African mother. He grew up in Hyndburn and studied electrical engineering. He taught electronics at a vocational college for more than twenty years and wrote two books on the subject. His first novel, "Weekend in Amsterdam is based on a chance meeting with a soviet agent while in Amsterdam, while his second novel, "Satan's Whiskers," chronicles his time in a rock band during the 1960's. Higgins is a family man living in Lancashire's Ribble Valley.
